2019
• Appeared in all 20 of UVA’s games with 11 starts
• Shot 63 percent for the year, which is the highest by a Cavalier with 10+ goals dating back to 1999.
• Scored 17 goals and 18 assists for 35 points
• Scored the game-winner in overtime at Syracuse, which was his first goal of the season
• Tied a UVA NCAA single-game record (Doug Knight) with six goals in the NCAA First Round against Robert Morris

2018
• Appeared in all 18 of UVA’s games with five starts
• Made starts on attack and midfield
• Scored 12 goals and dished out 18 assists
• Picked up 11 ground balls 
• Scored three goals and dished out one assist against Duke
• Scored one goal and dished out three assists at North Carolina

2017
• Appeared in 12 of UVA’s 15 games
• Saw most of his time on UVA’s extra-man offense
• Scored four goals and dished out five assists
• Tallied five points on one goal and four assists against Cleveland State
• Scored one goal against High Point, Robert Morris and Duke

2016
• Appeared in nine of UVA’s 15 games
• Scored one goal and dished out three assists in his collegiate debut at Drexel

• Son of Michael and Deborah Herring
• Has one brother, Jonathan, and one sister, Cameron
• Father, Michael, played lacrosse at Dartmouth
• Is 25 percent Native American. His paternal grandmother hails from the Onondaga tribe in Syracuse, N.Y.
