Luke Brugel
TIFFANY ON BRUGEL
2020 – “Consistency adorns this man. Luke attacks the weight room both with a vengeance and a smile: his effort is always satisfying to behold. This same approach to the field makes him a reliable, trusted man as he grinds at the faceoff X and regularly outmaneuvers his fellow Virginia faceoff specialists with astute counters. It is the intellect of the man and the insight he shares that uniquely define Luke.” 2019 – “An aficionado of the art at the X, his discerning eye astutely assesses the opposition and provides effective countermeasures that add to his extensive repertoire of moves.” 2018 – “Faceoff specialists are the crash-test dummies of our sport, beaten and bloodied while never asking for sympathy. Befitting this description, Luke loves the competition at the faceoff X. But even more valuable is his shrewdness in dissecting the opposition’s tactics and making the necessary adjustments. In addition, there is a formidable growth mindset inside Luke – he is eager to shed the FOGO (face-off, get off) title as he grows more aware of our team’s schemes.”
