Tucker Mullen
Tucker Mullen Pronunciation
TIFFANY ON MULLEN
2025 – “Our best finisher close to the goal, Tucker has a special ability to block out the noise and the 6-foot sticks the opposition is swinging at him. Such poise on the doorstep is observed time and time again. Most defensemen assume he must have released the shot already, yet he still has the ball and is still pump faking the goalie. What an inspiration Tucker has been for the rest of us, overcoming a massive medical obstacle with ZERO HESITATION to be back on the field competing again.” 2024 – “Tucker proves day-in and day-out to be our toughest man in the program. Pound for pound, he disregards the checks and hits to place himself in the best position possible to secure a ground ball or be in front of the cage. Tucker takes the extra step (or two) to earn a better angle to shoot despite the swinging 6-foot sticks and body blows. And he does all this with his elbow pads rarely in the most protective position. We are witnessing Tucker attack all sort of challenges, and he does it with his endearing smile and a grit that inspires the rest of us.” 2023 – “The wait is finally over, as Tucker is 100% healthy and prepared to be the goal-scoring offensive threat we pursued in the recruiting process. With the redshirt year and a ton of rehab in the rearview mirror, Tucker enters this spring with the bounce back in his step and the joy of competing with the rest of us. Does anyone light up a room or conversation as much as Tucker? He does the same on the field, playing with an infectious spirit. Tucker’s ability to score in tight spaces while surrounded by the big-stick swinging “forest” is exceptional.” 2022 – “Slippery smooth around the crease… Shoebox scorer: he does not need much room to create shots amongst the forest of poles… Proves the argument that accuracy is more valuable than power, but he is embracing the weight room more and more… Lifts the rest of us with his smile, humor and ever-present warm human connectivity he brings.”
