2024 – “Henry is smoothly making the transition to Division One athletics thanks to his talent and determination, along with the tremendous preparation provided by the Salisbury School. The faceoff specialists have been entangled in a healthy competitive battle this Fall semester, with Henry right there in the mix until a hand injury knocked him out of our practice starting in October. There is a significant amount of potential inside this man to be one heck of a collegiate faceoff specialist.”

• Played both lacrosse and ice hockey at Salisbury (2022-23) and Detroit Country Day (2019-21)
• Started facing off his junior year of high school (2022)
• Led Salisbury to national championship (2022)
• Recorded an 80 percent faceoff win percentage (2023)
• Five-year lacrosse letterwinner (2019-23)
• New England Elite 8 ice hockey champion (2022)
• Salisbury ice hockey alternate captain (2023)
• Ice hockey all-state team (2021)
• Played on the travel circuit for Sweetlax Upstate

PERSONAL

• Son of Robin and Robert Metz
• Father, Robert, played ice hockey and golf at Colgate
• Mother, Robin, competed on the diving team at Denison University
• Brother, Bobby, plays ice hockey at Colgate
• Enjoys the outdoors and wood working
• Currently studying in UVA’s College of Arts and Sciences
