TIFFANY ON GHOBRIEL
2025 – “What a competitor! Anthony was already clearly establishing himself as a fabulous teammate who was deferential, unassuming and a competitive beast. What about on the field? Right from the jump, he proved to all of us he could win possessions against the best in the nation. Then he sustained an injury early in the 2024 spring season, forcing him to decide if he should play despite significant pain. Anthony charged forward, persevering while holding off on the surgery until June. He missed the Fall, but will be back to full activity in January.” 2024 – “Anthony comes to Charlottesville after honing the art of the faceoff at the United States Naval Academy for two years. As the fortunate beneficiary of his transfer, we have inherited a talented athlete with the hand speed to win the ball. Larger than most faceoff specialists, Anthony is able to drive his opponent off the X. The details of our aggressive substitution game are becoming more familiar to him, and we are witnessing improvement with his stick skills as Anthony participates in all of our team’s drills.”
