Chase MacCartee
Chase MacCartee Pronunciation
TIFFANY ON MacCARTEE
2025 – “This was not supposed to happen: a walk-on midfielder earning a spot in our program. With a lot of returners, and a strong first-year crop arriving, there simply was not much in the way of space. But this appreciative 5th-year midfielder proved to us to have the heart and intensity to battle for a spot. Chase is focusing on the defensive end of the field as a SSDM, a relatively new position for him. His growth is evident weekly.”

WHY UVA?
“As a senior in college seeking a master’s degree in finance, I decided to pursue a graduate career at UVA because it had the best of all worlds. The University of Virginia allowed me to study for a business degree at a highly ranked institution, while being close to home. I would later find out that UVA also allowed me to chase a childhood dream of competing for a national championship at the Division 1 level for the best program in the country.”
