2025 – “The window was only open for a week, but what we observed was an explosive, dangerous offensive weapon in that limited time. An injury ended Kyle’s year much too prematurely. He is powering through the rehabilitation process and is razor-focused on returning to us stronger and even better than before. Our team’s future is brighter because of Kyle being here in Charlottesville!”

PERSONAL

• Son of Roy and Chrissy Colsey
• Father Roy was a three-time First Team All-American at Syracuse and is a US Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee
• Mother Chrissy played field hockey and lacrosse at Keen State
• Older brother Ryan joined the UVA men’s lacrosse program in the fall of 2022
• Enjoys water sports, fishing, hunting, dirt biking, golf and spike ball

Why UVA?
“There are many of reasons when it comes to why UVA, but they all connect to the fact that it’s the best of all worlds. I love its campus, academics, athletics, and colors. I love it all, but I also get to take the field with my older brother [Ryan] again,  which I am grateful for and cannot wait to win a national championship with him.”
