Malachi Jones
TIFFANY ON JONES
2025 – “Personal growth and evolution are the results of training intensity and sound decision-making. Malachi has had to overcome injury and the decision to redshirt last year. The runway has been cleared of all interference and the time is now for Malachi to prove himself as deserving of significant playing time. Few are as strong or as fast, and Malachi has a strong comprehension of our defensive systems.” 2024 – “Malachi is planning to use this upcoming spring as a redshirt season, giving him more time to develop as an athlete and consume the schemes. We are already witnessing his physical growth in the weight room. Malachi is busting out of his apparel, backed up by his 315 pound one-rep bench press during our November max week. The tenacity with which Malachi competes propels him all over the field, whether he is hunting the ball carrier or the ball itself with his ground ball prowess.” 2023 – “Malachi is already making a splash with our program in his first Fall. His speed, agility and determination result in one ground ball after another being secured by him. Malachi has also grown as a disruptive long-stick midfielder, dislodging the ball with several checks including the ‘can opener’. But the most electrifying part of Malachi’s game is witnessing him kick-start transition with a ground ball that leads to a full-field run and a scoring opportunity for our offense.”
