• Was the runner-up at the $25,000 Long Beach Futures after downing UVA teammate Carl Soderlund in the semifinals. He downed 2016 NCAA singles and doubles champion Mackenzie McDonald in the quarterfinals but fell to 2014 NCAA singles champion Marcos Giron in the final (1/14)

• Selected for the NCAA Singles Tournament, falling in the first round to Kentucky’s William Bushamuka
• 24-5 record in singles, including a 14-2 mark at No. 2, and 16-7 in doubles
• Was a perfect 9-0 in ACC singles matches until he fell 1-6, 7-6, 6-4 to Wake Forest’s No. 21 Petros Chrysochos, finished 11-1
