• Three year varsity lacrosse at Notre Dame Prep, helping to lead her team to the IAAM A Conference Final Four her sophomore and junior seasons
• Was a member of undefeated Top of the Bay U19 team at the Women’s World Cup in Oshawa, Canada
• Also played four years of soccer at Notre Dame Prep, including serving as a team captain during her senior season
PERSONAL
• Father, John Shields, played soccer at Loyola (Md.) and then went on to play professionally for the Miami Toros (1976-77)
• Mother, Natalie Shields, played basketball at Loyola (Md.)
• Has an older brother, Kevin, who played Division III baseball at Franklin & Marshall
