Alyssa Domres serves as the Associate Director of Business Operations and Gift Reporting for the Virginia Athletics Foundation (VAF), where she plays a vital role in supporting the financial and operational infrastructure that fuels philanthropic impact across Virginia Athletics. She joined the Foundation in October 2024, bringing focus and expertise to business operations and the accurate reporting of donor contributions that help further the mission of the VAF.
In her role, Alyssa oversees key aspects of business operations and ensures the integrity of gift reporting processes, helping to maintain transparency and efficiency in the Foundation’s fundraising efforts. Her work supports initiatives that provide scholarships, fund sport-specific programs, and enhance the overall student-athlete experience at the University of Virginia.
A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Alyssa moved to Virginia in 2020 and earned her BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Liberty University. While completing her degree, she worked full-time for over three years in general accounting roles within the Space and Defense industry, gaining experience in complex financial environments and compliance-driven reporting. Alyssa lives with her cat and dog and enjoys spending time outdoors, including skydiving, snowboarding, kayaking, hiking and other thrilling activities.
