Greg Klimas

Greg Klimas joined the Virginia equipment room in 2011 as the head equipment manager for Olympic sports before becoming the head football equipment manager on July 23, 2018. He is responsible for servicing the equipment needs of the Virginia football program and assisting the day to day operations of the Virginia equipment room.Prior to coming to Virginia, Klimas spent four years at William and Mary, first as the senior assistant to the head equipment manager before taking over as the head equipment manager in 2008. During that time he managed all aspects of the equipment room operations.

Klimas is a native of West Harford, CT, and graduated from Arizona State in 2006 with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology. He is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association. Klimas and his wife, Tonya, currently reside in Barboursville, Va.
