Hannah Potter
Hannah Potter joined the Virginia athletics department in September 2022. She works with athletic administration and academic affairs, and serves as the assistant to deputy athletic director of competitive excellence, Armani Dawkins. Potter also is the admin assistant for Olympic Sports at UVA.
Prior to her time at UVA, Potter spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Rays and Buffalo Bills. Her background is extensive, with an emphasis on football. In college, she served four years with the Western Kentucky equipment staff, where she assisted defensive coordinator Clayton White (South Carolina) and special teams coordinator Andy LaRussa (Western Kentucky). Potter was a member of the Hilltoppers’ 2016 C-USA Championship, 2016 Boca Raton Bowl and 2021 First Responder Bowl Championship teams.
Potter is a two-time graduate of Western Kentucky, obtaining a B.S. in sport management with a minor in business (2020) and a master’s degree in sport administration with a concentration in intercollegiate athletic administration (2022). A native of Smyrna, Tenn., Potter is passionate about emergency medicine and is a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT). She is a proud sister to two brothers and resides in Charlottesville.
