Peeler was hired in January of 2026 as the program's Performance Applied Science Coordinator. He supports the UVA football strength staff in a data collection and analysis capacity.
He came to Virginia after serving as a football data analyst graduate assistant/recovery specialist at the Clemson Applied Science Lab (CASL) from 2023-25. He led a 13-member data team that produced daily session reports, managed long-term analytics projects and maintained departmental upkeep and operations.
Peeler gained experience as data analysis specialist for the Appalachian State football program in the summer in 2023 and as an undergraduate student at Clemson, he was a data analyst/recovery specialist at CASL.
Peeler earned his undergraduate degree Clemson in Biochemistry with a Life Sciences Cluster minor. He completed his graduate degree in Data Science & Analytics in December of 2025.
