Maddie Sermak joined the Virginia Athletics Foundation in April of 2026 as a coordinator of donor experiences. In this role, she supports athletic event planning, marketing and communications and stewardship initiatives for all VAF donors. Sermak also assists with suite management at Scott Stadium, John Paul Jones Arena and Disharoon Park.
Prior to joining VAF, Maddie completed her master's degree in sport administration at the University of North Carolina. She served in a year-long internship in administration where she supported the athletic director and his executive team.
A native of Michigan, Sermak earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management, business administration and communications from Aquinas College in May of 2024, graduating magna cum laude. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, working out at Orangetheory Fitness, spending time outside, traveling, cooking and baking, and getting her nails done.
