Tyler Flood serves as the Assistant Director of Major Gifts and Premium Seating for the Virginia Athletics Foundation. In this role, he is responsible for cultivating relationships with donors and generating philanthropic support through premium seating and major gift initiatives in support of University of Virginia Athletics.
Flood joined the Virginia Athletics Foundation after serving as a Development Specialist with the Mountaineer Athletic Club at West Virginia University. He played a key role in major gift fundraising and donor development at WVU. In addition, he secured over 25 major gifts which contributed more than $3 million in total revenue.
A two-time graduate of West Virginia, Flood earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sport management. He gained experience across multiple areas of collegiate athletics furthering his passion for fundraising and donor engagement. Flood also worked for four years as an equipment manager and recruiting assistant within the Mountaineer football program.
A native of Zelienople, Pennsylvania, Flood is committed to building strong relationships with alumni and supporters while helping advance opportunities for Virginia’s student-athletes to succeed academically and athletically.
