Scott Clore is a graduate assistant for the University of Virginia Baseball program, where he assists with daily operations. In his role, Clore supports practice preparation, gameday logistics, player development coordination and overall team operations, working closely with the coaching staff and student-athletes to ensure the program runs efficiently at the highest level. He is entering his fourth season with the team and contributed to Virginia’s 2024 College World Series run.
A student in the McIntire School of Commerce, Clore is pursuing a Master of Science in Commerce. In May of 2026, he obtained a B.A. in Economics with distinction from UVA’s College of Arts and Sciences, completing the degree in three years. His academic work and interests in finance, wealth management and athletic administration provides a quantitative and logistical foundation that complements his role in collegiate athletics.
Outside of baseball, Clore served as a Resident Advisor at UVA, mentoring first-year students and helping build community within University Housing. He is also a member of the UVA Club Baseball team, where he pitches and assists with practice operations, applying skills developed as a student manager to contribute to the team’s success.
Clore attended Orange County High School in Orange, Virginia, where he graduated as salutatorian with honors and competed as a varsity athlete in baseball, golf and football.
He aspires to build a career at the intersection of sports, finance and management.
