The Virginia women’s basketball team improved to 17-12, 7-9 ACC, finishing in a three-way tie for ninth place in the ACC with NC State and Georgia Tech

Imovbioh’s 17 rebounds gives her 777 in her career, moving her into ninth place on the Virginia all-time rebounding list, passing Monica Wright (2007-10 – 764 rebounds) and Dawn Staley (1989-92 – 772 rebounds)
Senior forward Sarah Beth Barnette (Lexington, Ky.) was honored before the game in the annual Senior Day Ceremony. Sarah Beth Barnette played her freshman season at Kentucky before transferring to Virginia where she has been a contributor for the Cavaliers for the last three years, appearing in 72 games. This season, Sarah Beth has put up career-best numbers in almost every statistical category including making 41.7 percent of her shots with a 32.3 percent accuracy from three-point range. She was nominated for the 2015 Allstate Good Works Team for her commitment and service to the Charlottesville community.
