Long, Hudson and Stewart Earn All-America Honors

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Three members of the Virginia rowing program were named to the 2018 Division I Pocock CRCA All-America Team.
 
Heidi Long (Buckinghamshire, England) earned First-Team All-America honors, while Jane Hudson (Sandy, Utah) and Ellie Stewart (London, England) were named to the second team.
 
Long, Hudson and Stewart rowed on the ACC champion Varsity Eight, which also finished seventh at the NCAA Championships. The trio also earned All-ACC first-team honors and CRCA All-Conference team accolades.
 
Long, along with teammate Hannah Scott, recently claimed the Hambleden Challenge Cup for winning the women’s pair at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta in England.
 
The Virginia rowing program has garnered multiple All-America honors in each of the last 18 seasons.
