ITA Scholar-Athletes By School

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Five members of the Virginia women’s tennis team were recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Thursday (July 18) as the organization announced its ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Team winners.

Seniors Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Maine) and Erica Susi (Vero Beach, Fla.), junior Camille Favero (Sacramento, Calif.), and sophomores Lizzie Baker (Washington, D.C.) and Vivian Glozman (Bellevue, Wash.) were all recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes. The Virginia women’s tennis team was also named an All-Academic Team for its overall academic performance.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete a student-athlete must be a varsity letter winner with at least a 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale). To be named an ITA All-Academic team, the squad must post a combined GPA of at least a 3.2 for the year.
