CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Ten Virginia men’s lacrosse players have been named USA Lacrosse Magazine All-Americans, the organization announced Tuesday (May 9). The Cavaliers’ 10 selections led all Division-I programs nationally.

Cade Saustad was tabbed a first-team selection, while Connor Shellenberger and Thomas McConvey garnered second-team honors. Xander Dickson, Grayson Sallade and Cole Kastner were named third-team recipients.

Payton Cormier, Griffin Schutz, Petey LaSalla and Evan Zinn rounded out the list for the Cavaliers as honorable mentions.

No. 2 Virginia (11-3) hosts Richmond (11-4) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday (May 13). Opening faceoff from Klöckner Stadium is set for noon on ESPNU. Tickets and parking passes for Saturday’s first round contest are on sale now at UVAtix.com.
