  • The Cavaliers are ranked No. 15 in the latest IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine polls.
  • The Cavaliers play a difficult schedule in 2024 as the slate features nine teams ranked or receiving votes in the latest IWLCA poll. UVA will face off with all of the top-three teams in the latest edition of the poll (Boston College, Notre Dame, JMU).

A NEW ERA IN CHARLOTTESVILLE

  • The LaMonica era began with a 3-0 start which has featured plenty of new Cavalier faces. Graduate transfer Katia Carnevale leads the Cavaliers in scoring with nine total goals including a four-goal performance on her UVA debut at Liberty.
  • Freshmen Madison Alaimo (4g, 6a) and Jenna Dinardo (3g, 2a) have been difference makers on the attack while Kate Demark and sophomore Olivia Bruno have stepped into important roles on the defensive end.
