No. 4 Virginia Plays at Miami, No. 14 Florida State
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 4 Virginia men’s tennis team (14-4, 6-0 ACC) plays a pair of road matches this weekend in the state of Florida, taking on Miami (10-6, 2-3 ACC) on Friday, March 22 at 8 a.m. and No. 14 Florida State (13-4, 3-2 ACC) on Sunday, March 24 at 1:30 p.m.
NOTE: Friday’s match at Miami has been moved to an 8 a.m. start time.

NOTING THE CAVALIERS
- Virginia dipped to No. 4 in this week’s ITA team rankings after ranking No. 3 each of the last two weeks
- UVA will have its fourth top-25 ACC match on Sunday when it faced No. 14 Florida State
- Senior Chris Rodesch has won his last nine completed singles matches. He is 14-2 this season in singles (6-0 ACC) and ranked No. 10 in the latest ITA rankings
- Senior Iñaki Montes won his second ACC Player of the Week honor after picking up two wins against ranked opponents last weekend against Louisville and Notre Dame while playing at No. 1
- Montes and grad student James Hopper were named the ACC Doubles Team of the Week. Montes and Harper played together in the fall, advancing to the semifinals of the ITA All-American
- Montes and Harper moved up to No. 11 in the doubles rankings
- Sophomore Måns Dahlberg is 6-0 in singles in ACC matches; senior Alex Kiefer is 5-1
- Virginia has won 47 consecutive conference matches. Their last ACC loss was against Wake Forest on March 17, 2019
- Virginia has not lost an outdoor match since falling in the Round of 16 of the 2021 NCAA Championship
- UVA is 23-5 against Miami and has won the last five meetings
- Miami is ranked No. 50 in the latest ITA team rankings
- Virginia is 34-11against Florida State and has won the last six meetings
- Antoine Cornut-Chauvinc is 14-0 in sinlges this year and is ranked No. 4 in the latest ITA singles rankings

- The Cavaliers have a bye next weekend. They return to action on Thursday, April 3 when they play at Virginia Tech in a Smithfield Commonwealth Clash match
- Virginia has one regular-season home match remaining when they host Boston College on Sunday, April 7 at 1 p.m.
