University of Virginia rowers are competing at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta, held on the River Thames by the town of Henley-on-Thames, England.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – University of Virginia rowers are competing at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta, held on the River Thames by the town of Henley-on-Thames, England.

On Thursday (July 4), UVA’s pair of Eva Frohnhofer and Kate Kelly will race at 10:15 a.m. Frohnhofer and Kelly will be competing for the Hambleden Pairs Challenge Cup . The Cavaliers’ 8+ boat of coxswain Nora Grabcheski, Sofia Coppola, Catherine Williams, Jenna Hajji, Sydney Fratamico, Lauren Benedict, Paige Loh, Meagan Goldsmith and Kate McGee will race at 12:15 p.m. Skylar Morrison is unable to compete due to illness. The 8+ crew will compete for the Island Challenge Cup.

UVA’s spare pair of Riley Richardson and Fratamico posted a convincing win over Riverside Boat Club on Tuesday (July 2).

Racing at the Henley Royal Regatta concludes on Sunday, July 7.
