No. 5 Virginia Sweeps Dickinson in MASC Championship Opener

The Cavaliers will finish pool play on Saturday (Feb. 14), taking on Franklin & Marshall at 4 p.m. at the McArthur Squash Center.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –  The No. 5 Virginia men's squash team (11-3) swept No. 25 Dickinson 9-0 on Friday (Feb. 13) in its 2026 Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships opener at the McArthur Squash Center.

The Cavaliers won by 3-0 scores on all nine courts.

Virginia lost 10 or fewer points on seven of nine courts.

Sophomore Juan Jose Torres Lara played the most competitive match of the day, winning 11-7, 11-3, 11-9 on the top court.  

 

CAVALIER NOTES

  • Virginia improves to 10-1 all-time against Dickinson.
  • Juniors Dylan Moran and Krishna Mishra are tied for the team lead in wins with eleven apiece. 
  • This was the Cavaliers' sixth sweep of the season.
