CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 2 Virginia men's tennis team (12-2) returns home to host two matches this weekend at the Virginia Tennis Facility. The Cavaliers begin by taking on No. 49 Duke on Friday (March 13) at 3 p.m., then No. 65 North Carolina on Sunday (March 15) at 1 p.m.

- Friday is Greek Night, a promotion where the Greek organization with the highest attendance will win $500.
CAVALIER NOTES
- The Cavaliers reclaimed No. 2 in the latest ITA Team Rankings.
- Last week, the Cavaliers traveled to No. 48 Cal and No. 21 Stanford, downing the Golden Bears 4-1 and the Cardinal 4-0.
- Junior Dylan Dietrich defeated SMU's then-No. 1 Trevor Svajda on March 1 and was thus crowned No. 1 in the ITA Singles Rankings. Dietrich is the eighth player in program history to sit atop the singles rankings and the third to reach a No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles in his career.
- The Cavaliers have three other players currently appearing in the ITA Singles rankings: sophomore Keegan Rice at No. 14, freshman Andres Santamarta Roig at No. 28 and sophomore Jangjun Kim at No. 84.
- Virginia has three ranked doubles pairings: NCAA Doubles Champions Dietrich and senior Måns Dahlberg at No. 3, Dietrich and sophomore Stiles Brockett at No. 9 and Dahlberg and Kim at No. 37.
- Dietrich and Rice are tied for team lead in dual match singles wins with nine apiece, while the top two doubles pairings (Dietrich/Brockett and Dahlberg/Kim) are tied with seven wins each.
NOTES ON DUKE AND NORTH CAROLINA
- The Cavaliers are 52-55 all-time against Duke.
- The Cavaliers are 47-71 all-time against North Carolina with a seven-match win streak.
