BACKGROUND

• MAX Field Hockey Top 10 Players
• Named Top Midfielder in the class by MAX Field Hockey following its Top 100 Camp
• Named to the US U18 Junior National Team in her sophomore year of high school and remained on the squad until aging out
• 2x first-team NFHCA All-American; third-steam as a sophomore
• Scored 68 goals with 75 assists at The Kinkaid School
• Scored over 100 goals with over 100 assists with the Texas Pride club team
• Was also a middle-distance runner at The Kinkaid School

Personal

• Parents are Joanna & Scott Raynes
• Older sister, Sarah Grace Raynes, plays field hockey at Wake Forest. Will play against one another for two years
• Father, Scott Raynes, was an Echols Scholar and a double Hoo, graduating with a BS in 1993 and a JD in 1996
• Her first visit to Grounds came at the age of one
• Played high school and club field hockey with many UVA players/alums, including Mia Abello, Sloan Davidson, Tyler Kennedy and was coached briefly by Kim Kastuk
• Also has a younger brother, William
