• Has one sister, Kylie, and one brother, Aidan
• Father played baseball and soccer at UVA (soccer 1988-89, baseball 1988), earned Hermann Trophy in 1988 (soccer equivalent of Heisman Trophy) and was goalkeeper on UVA’s first national championship team in 1989; he was U.S. goalkeeper in the 1990, 1994 and 2002 FIFA World Cups and now is in the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame
