• Appeared in 12 games and made five starts (4 at DH, 1 at SS)
• Was 4-for-16 with a double, home run and four RBI on the year
• His first collegiate hit was a pinch-hit, two-run homer against Davidson on March 6. Stayed in at DH and finished 2-for-2 with three RBI in the contest
• Was 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two HBP as a pinch-hitter

• Two-sport standout, earning four letters in both baseball and football
• In his junior season in 2016, batted .423 with three homers, 30 hits, 20 RBI and .557 OBP
• Missed most of senior baseball season because of injury suffered during football season
• Named 2016 First-Team Under Armour All-American and was MVP of 2016 Area Code Games
• Attended 2016 East Coast Pro Showcase
• Earned First-Team All-Metro honors his junior and senior seasons
• Named First-Team All-New Jersey his last two seasons
• Was team captain his junior and senior seasons
• Coached by Bruce Shatel and played shortstop throughout high school
• Played wide receiver, quarterback and defensive back at Delbarton
• In his sophomore season in 2014, was named First-Team All-New Jersey, All-Area and All-Conference; also, was a Second-Team All-Metro pick in 2014
• Was first freshman to start varsity game in school history

PERSONAL
• Son of Perry and Siobhan Papantonis
• Oldest of four siblings; has one sister, Mary, and two brothers, Daniel and Aidan
• Cousin Pat Light, was a first round pick of the Boston Red Sox in 2012 and currently pitches in the Seattle Mariners organization
