• Defeated Navy’s Lucas Spiro in straight sets in the season opener
• Tallied a five game win over Auggie Bhavsar to help UVA to an 8-1 win over No. 10 Dartmouth
• Tallied a straight game win against Yos Wagenmans to help UVA to the MASC Championship finals
• Fell to Yale’s Nikhil Ismail in four games at the seven spot at CSA Team Championships
• ACC Academic Honor Roll
• Finished the season with an overall record of 10-7

2021-22

• Played at 10 in the season-opener at Navy (11/10), winning his exhibition match in three games
• Moved up to the No. 9 position at Penn (11/19)
• Compiled a record of 5-2 for the Cavaliers
• Ended the season on a five-match streak of three-game victories
• Won his only match of the MASC Championships over No. 15 MIT

• The top-ranked junior player in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Ranked as high as No. 29 nationally in U-17 and No. 42 in U-19
• Member of the Western Albemarle cross country team

• Son of Francis Paul Hajek and Deborah Ann Hajek
• Has three older sisters, Valerie, Olivia and  Madeline
• His sisters Valerie and Olivia both played field hockey in college at Davidson and William and Mary, respectively
• Father was a fencer at Yale
• Took a gap year after high school before coming to UVA
• Kinesiology major
