- Compiled a 10-3 overall record on the season
- Made collegiate debut against No. 8 Columbia (11/16), winning in three games at eight
- Opened his career winning six of his first seven matches
- Logged five straight wins from Nov. 23 to Feb. 7
- Defeated Louis Murray 11-6, 12-10, 11-7 to help Virginia pick up its first ever win over No. 5 Harvard (12/6)
- Won an exhibition match Derek Du of Dickinson (1/18)
- Came back to defeat 7 Dima Dumitru 11-9, 9-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-9 in UVA’s 6-3 win over No. 7 Drexel (1/19)
