Meg Jefferson

2021-22 

• Was in the starting lineup at Georgia Tech, scoring six points with five rebounds (1/9)
• Has left the team and entered the transfer portal after appearing in 12 games with one start this season, averaging 1.2 points and 1.7  rebounds per game

2020-21

• Through the first three games of the season, led the ACC in shooting percentage and ranked sixth in the NCAA at 73.3 percent (17-of-22)
• Led the team in scoring at 12.7 points per game before her injury in the James Madison game (12/3)
• Made her first career start at UCF, scoring eight points (11/25)
• Scored 16 points with eight rebounds against ECU (11/29)

2019-20

• Played in 15 games, averaging 1.1 points per game in 5.5 minutes per game

High School/Club

• Named the 2018 Sportswoman of the Year at Saint Columa’s Catholic College
• At the club level, Jefferson helped her teams to the New South Wales state championships in 2015 and 2017 with a runner-up finish in 2016
• Named to the 2019 New South Wales U-20 team
• Played for the New South Wales U-18 team in the Australian national championships, averaging 15 points per game and added seven rebounds, finishing as the fifth leading scorer in the tournament

• Her parents are Tamara Morris and Ion Jefferson and stepfather is Warren Morris
• Has an older sister, Hannah Jefferson, and a younger sister, Tess Morris. Also has a younger brother, Lachlan Morris
• Environmental sciences major
• Recipient of the 2021-2022 Thomas J. Ryan Memorial Women’s Basketball Scholarship
