Rebecca Story

Story joined the Virginia coaching staff as a graduate assistant ahead of the 2023-2024 season following a collegiate running career at Stanford (2018-2022) and Virginia (2022-2023).

A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Story was the top-rated female distance recruit in the country by FloTrack while at the Christian Academy of Knoxville. At Stanford, she was a part of the 2020 Pac-12 champion cross country team and helped her team to a west regional cross country championship in 2021 before transferring to Virginia in 2022.

Story is pursuing a master’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Virginia.
