Virginia Team Notes
 • UVa is now 17-19-1 all-time against Georgia Tech.
         • UVa is now 7-15 all-time in Atlanta against the Yellow Jackets.
         • With his second quarter field goal, Ian        Frye moved into a tie for fifth-most at UVa in a season with 17 made field goals. Frye        is now tied with Rafael Garcia (1994), Connor Hughes (2004) and Robert Randolph        (2009).
         • UVa gave up 147 rushing to Synjyn Days. It’s the first 100-yard rusher against the        Cavalier defense this season. It’s the first 100-yard rusher against UVa since the Georgia        Tech game last season.
         • First time UVa has failed to rush for over 100 yards since tallying 68 against Gerogia        Tech in 2013.
         • UVa’s 22 rushing yards is it’s fewest in a game since rushing for 25 versus Florida        State in 2010.
         • With 409 total yards, Georgia Tech becomes the first FBS team in 2014 to accumulate over        400 yards of total offense.
Virginia Offensive Player Notes
 • Zachary Swanson caught his        second career touchdown and his first since the 2012 meeting with Georgia Tech at Bobby        Dodd Stadium.
         • David Watford appeared at wide        receiver for the first time in his career.
         • Watford caught his first career pass as a receiver, a seven-yard gain. It was Watford’s        second career reception. Watford as a QB caught one of his passes batted down at Maryland        in 2013.
         • With 76 receiving yards, Darius Jennings moved to No.        11 all-time at UVa with 1,568 receiving yards. Today Jennings passed Terrence Wilkins        (1,495) and Bruce McGonnigal (1,556).
         • Jennings also added 71 kick return yards to break the program record for kick returns        yards for a career. Jennings now has 1,646 career returns yards, passing Joe Sroba        (1974-76) who set the standard with 1,645 career kick return yards.
         • Canaan Severin tied his        career high with five receptions.
Virginia Defensive Player Notes
 • Anthony Harris grabbed his        second interception of the season and his 11th of his career. Harris is now tied for No. 10        all-time at UVa with career interceptions.
         • With 13 tackles Quin Blanding has led UVa in        tackles for the fifth time this season.
