– With 79 receiving yards, Mizzell moves into 13th-place (1,490) all-time at UVA in career receiving.
– With 190 passing yards, QB Kurt Benkert moves into 11th-place (2,287) all-time at UVA for passing yards in a season. He passed Shawn Moore (1988, 2,158), Jameel Sewell (2007, 2,176), David Watford (2013, 2,202), Shawn Moore (1990, 2,262) and Aaron Brooks (1997, 2,282).
– DE Eli Hanback recorded his first career sack in the fourth quarter.
– OLB Matt Terrell had a career-high 10 tackles.
– ILB Micah Kiser recorded his 13th career double-digit tackle game in 21 career starts with his 11 tackles against Wake Forest. It is his sixth double-digit tackle game this season.
