  • Finalist for the Honda Sport Award for Tennis, her second time being one of four finalist for the honor. The Honda Sport Award has been presented annually by the CWSA to the top women athletes in 12 NCAA- sanctioned sports and signifies “the best of the best in collegiate athletics”
  • Earned the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Singles Championship, the first player in program history to be the top seed in the championship
  • Earned the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Doubles Championship with Hibah Shaikh becoming the first doubles team in program history to be seeded in the championship

  • 26-2 in singles, including a 23-1 record on court 1 and a 12-1 mark in the ACC

  • Picked up two wins against ranked doubles teams at ITA Indoors, topping No. 6 Briggs and Zein from Florida 6-1 and No. 13 Crawley and Scotty from UNC 6-3 while partnering with Amber O’Dell (2/13)
  • Named the ACC Player of the Week for the second time this season (fourth time in her career) after picking up a pair of top-20 wins at Duke and UNC (both in straight sets) including topping No. 7 Cameron Morra (3/8)
  • She and Shaikh won 7-5 against the ITA’s No. 1 ranked doubles team of Elizabeth Scotty and Fiona Crawley of UNC to clinch the doubles point in UVA’s upset of the No. 1 Tar Heels in the ACC Championship semifinals (4/23)
  • Defeated No. 4 Cameron Morra of UNC 6-1, 6-0 in the ACC semifinals (4/23), following that win with a 6-4, 6-2 victory against No. 8 Chloe Beck of Duke the following day (4/24)
  • Defeated No. 2 Peyton Stearns, the 2022 NCAA Singles Champion, 6-1, 6-0 at the N0. 1 court in the NCAA Quarterfinal match against Texas (5/20)
  • Advanced to the Round of 16 of the NCAA Singles Championship and the second round of the NCAA Doubles Championship

2021- 22 Non-Collegiate 

  • Reached a career-high No. 194 WTA singles ranking (3/21/22) and No. 318 in doubles (8/2/21)
  • Played in the main singles and doubles draws of the US Open
  • Played in the main draw of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells (WTA 1000) after being awarded a WTA wildcard (3/8)
  • Advanced to the second round of the Credit One Charleston Open (WTA 500), rebounding after dropping her first set against No. 56 Madison Brengle in a tiebreaker to take the second set 6-2. She was leading 3-0 in the third set when Brengle retired (4/5)
  • Faced No. 10 Ons Jabeur, the tournament’s No. 4 seed, in the second round of the Credit One Charleston Open, the highest-ranked opponent she has faced in her career (4/7)
  • Reached the singles quarterfinals of the LTP Women’s Open (WTA 125) in Charleston (Aug. 1)
  • Competed in qualifying of the Western & Southern Open (WTA 1000) and the WTA Chicago Women’s Open (WTA 250)
  • Played in the doubles main draw of the Western & Southern Open (WTA 1000), partnering with fellow collegian Peyton Stearns onf Texas. They were edged in three sets in the first round (Aug. 16)
  • Reached the quarterfinals of two ITF World Tennis Tour tournaments over the summer, one in Charleston (June 27) and one in Amstelveen, Netherlands (July 11)
  • Won her first professional singles title at the ITF World Tennis Tour 25K in Orlando, Fla. (11/07)
  • Advanced to the semifinals of the Rome Tennis Open, an ITF World Tennis Tour 60K tournament in Rome, Ga., taking down former world No. 35 Olga Govortsova of Bealrus in straight-sets and two-time Honda Sports Award for Tennis winner and UCLA alumna Robin Anderson in the quarterfinals (2/4)
  • Played in the main draw of the WTA 250 tournament in Monterrey, Mexico, the Abierto GNP Seguros (2/28)
  • Advanced to the second round of the LTP W100 (ITF World Tennis Tour 100K) tournament in Charleston, S.C. (4/26)

2020-21 (Freshman Season)

  • 2021 NCAA SINGLES CHAMPION, the second player in program history to win the title, joining Danielle Collins who did so in 2014 and 2016
  • Defeated Estrela Perez-Somarriba 6-3, 6-1 in the final, avenging her only loss of the season, in a match that lasted just 75 minutes
  • Finalist for the 2021Honda Sports Award for Tennis 
  • ITA National Rookie of the Year, the second-straight Cavalier to earn the national honor and third overall
  • Finished the season with a 25-1 record, the best single-season winning percentage in program history (.961)
  • NCAA Doubles Semifinalist, partnering with Rosie Johanson, the first tandem in program history to make the semifinals
  • Reached a No. 1 ITA singles ranking (4/13), becoming the third player in program history to be ranked No. 1
  • All-American in doubles and singles. One of just three players in program history to be an All-American in both in the same year. One of the others is current teammate Natasha Subhash. The third is Julia Elbaba (2014)
  • ACC Freshman of the Year, the second player in program history to win the honor

  • Named the ACC co-Freshman of the Week (1/26) after going  2-0 in singles in matches against Tennessee and No. 13 Ohio State at ITA Kickoff Weekend
  • Named the ACC Player of the Week and ACC Freshman of the Week (2/2) picking up two wins over ranked singles opponents as well as a win over a ranked doubles pair in a sweep of VCU and a win over No. 18 South Carolina
  • Earned her third ACC Freshman of the Week honor after picking up a top-10 win against No. 3 Alexa Graham of North Carolina (2/23)
  • Earned her fourth ACC Freshman of the Week honor with two dominant wins against Louisville and Notre Dame’s top players as well as a 6-0 win in doubles against UND (3/9)
  • Won the ACC Freshman of the Week accolade for the fifth time after  topping No. 13 Kenya Jones of Georgia Tech and Eleni Louka of Clemson (3/23)
  • Won her first WTA main draw singles match when she topped No. 147  Renata Zarazua of Mexico 6-4, 6-3 in the opening round of the WTA 500 Volvo Car Open in Charleston, S.C. (4/6)
  • Advanced to the quarterfinals in doubles at the Volvo Car Open, partnering with Caroline Dolehide picked up a 6-1, 6-4 victory over 3-seed Yifan Xu and Shuai Zhang (4/8)
  • Played in her second-consecutive WTA tour event, the MUSC Health Women’s Open (WTA 250), also held in Charleston, as  a wildcard in the singles and doubles main draws (4/13)
  • Picked up her first WTA top-100 win at the MUSC Health Women’s Open, facing No. 96 Tereza Martincova of the Czech Republic. Navarro won the first set 6-3 and held a 3-2 advantage in the second set when Martincova retired (4/13)
  • Named the ACC Player of the Week for the second time and ACC Freshman of the Week for the sixth time after picking up wins against No. 15  Carolyn Campana of Wake Forest and No. 5 Anna Rogers of NC State (4/13)
  • Went 2-0 in singles in the NCAA Team Championship
