Sarah Coon

Sarah Coon joined the Virginia softball coaching staff as a student assistant for the 2025-26 season after completing a successful career with the Cavaliers in the spring of 2025.

A four-time letterwinner for the Hoos, Coon appeared in 210 games and tallied a career batting average of .248 with 26 home runs and 102 RBI. Her 26 home runs is ninth most in a career at Virginia. She also finished her career ninth in program history with 70 career walks and is second all-time in hit by pitch with 20.

An outstanding student as well, Coon was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll four times and was twice named an Academic All-District honoree by College Sports Communicators and twice named to the ACC Softball All-Academic Team.
