Gameday Parking Options

Virginia offers both free and paid parking options for home football games on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans should also expect an increased traffic presence on gameday and plan accordingly.

Free Parking

John Paul Jones Arena and surrounding lots (including the garage)

• Free on a first come, first served basis: Take free shuttle or walk to the stadium via Alderman Rd. JPJ events may impact availability. Watch for posted signs.
  
• Directions to John Paul Jones Arena – Use exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 bypass. Take third exit onto Leonard Sandridge Road. Go straight through two traffic signals onto Massie Rd.

North Grounds/The Park

• Free on a first come, first served basis: Take free shuttle or walk to the stadium via Alderman Rd. JPJ events may impact availability. Watch for posted signs.
• Directions to The Park – Use exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 bypass. Take third exit onto Leonard Sandridge Road. At the first traffic light, turn left on to Massie Road. Continue straight on Massie Road at the intersection of Massie Road and Arlington Boulevard). The D3 surface lot is immediately available on the left; continue straight to access surface lots at The park

Fontaine Research Park

• Free on a first come, first served basis: Walk to the stadium via lighted pedestrian walkway and Stadium Road.
• Directions to Fontaine Research Park – Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 bypass. Take first exit and turn right at bottom of the ramp onto Fontaine Avenue. Take first right into Fontaine Research Park.

Shuttles

Fan shuttles will begin three hours prior to kick off and run continuously through one hour post game. Locations for pick up and drop off are listed below.

All free game day parking lots offer ADA accessible parking and ADA accessible shuttles to and from Scott Stadium. The ADA parking spaces specific to the shuttle pickup locations are designated on this Interactive Map.

Paid Parking

Paid Parking is available at the following UVA parking garages and can be purchased ahead of time to reserve your space. Parking can be purchased through Clutch!: https://reserve.imclutch.com/uva

Central Grounds Garage on South Emmet Street

• $25 same-day only
• Directions to Central Grounds Garage – Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 Bypass. Take second exit onto Route 250 Business East. Turn right at the top of the exit. Turn right onto Emmet Street at fourth traffic signal, travel 2 blocks, turn left into the Central Grounds Garage

Hospital South Garage on Crispell Drive and Monroe Avenue

• $20 prepaid/$25 day of
• Directions to Hospital South Garage on Crispell Drive – Utilize exit 120 off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville. On Ridge Street turn left at the Cherry Avenue traffic light. Turn right at the 9th/10th Street Connector traffic light. In one block, turn left on Lee Street. In one block, turn left on Crispell Drive. At the three-way stop, go straight on Crispell Drive. The Garage entrance will be two blocks down on the left

Emmet/Ivy Garage on Ivy Road

• $20 prepaid/$25 day of
• Directions to UVA Emmet/Ivy Parking Garage – Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 Bypass. Take second exit onto Route 250 Business East. Turn right at the top of the exit. Turn left at third traffic signal into garage entrance.
