Played linebacker at Benedictine College Prep for coach Greg Lilly … Was a five-year letter winner for the Cadets while helping the team to back-to-back VISAA state titles (2014, 2015) … senior year was named first-team all-state VISAA, first-team VA Prep private all-state, and first-team All-Metro after collecting 13 sacks and 87 total tackles, including 20 for a loss … also received second-team all-state as a junior and honorable mention all-state as a sophomore … son of Geoff McDonald and Laura Booberg … has two younger sisters, Anna and Sophie, and two younger brothers, Thomas and Collin … father played defensive tackle at Hawaii from 1983-85 and transferred to Virginia, lettering in 1986-87.
