Played defensive end and offensive guard at St. Anne’s-Belfield for head coach John Blake … three-time winner of the scholar athlete award … earned All-Old Dominion Conference on defense and was a honorable mention honoree on defense … earned the Falcon Club Corbett King Memorial Student-Athlete Award … also ran the 100m/200m and 100m 4×4 on the track team … also played tennis and soccer … team captain of the track team … awarded the Judge Harold H Purcell Scholarship … awarded the Anne Taliaferro Pinkerton Memorial Award … volunteer work includes working with underprivileged kids in Charlottesville at Camp Corwith … also has volunteered at the VA Children Discovery Museum  and with the Boy’s and Girl’s Club … son of Anne Oliver and Vinson Smith … has two older sisters, Jamie and Payton … father, Vinson, played football at ECU (1983-87) and spent 12 years in the NFL with the Falcons, Steelers, Cowboys, Bears and Saints … father, Vinson, was a member of the Cowboys’ Super Bowl XXVII championship in 1992 … enjoys playing the piano, public policy and neuroscience.
