2013 – Was selected as an exact match and donated his stem cells to a bone marrow patient at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in April … became a donor through UVa’s annual bone marrow registry drive, “Get in the Game, Save a Life.”

AT VIRGINIA
2014 – Appeared in three of UVa’s 12 games … saw time against No. 7 UCLA, Richmond and at No. 21 BYU. 2013 – Appeared in three games … saw action against VMI, at North Carolina and at Miami … UVa’s defensive scout player of the week for the Miami game. 2012 – Missed entire season with an injury. 2011 – Appeared in one of Virginia’s 13 games … made collegiate debut against William & Mary. 2010 – Redshirted … selected by the UVa coaches as the scout team player of the week against Duke.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL
Four-year letterwinner at Graham High School for his uncle, Doug Marrs … played quarterback, safety and punter … three-year captain … earned All-Southwest District honors at all three positions … was honorable mention all-state as a quarterback in 2009 after passing for 1,144 yards and rushed for 944 yards … also registered 75 tackles, four interceptions and tallied 30 touchdowns … all-region honoree as a punter and quarterback … lettered three years in basketball, four years in baseball, four years in track & field and one year in soccer … earned all-district honors in basketball and baseball … member of the National Honor Society, BETA Club and MGA … was a camp counselor for the Ahmad Bradshaw Football Camp … youth member at Ebenezer United Methodist Church … son of Rick and Karen Marrs … has two older brothers, Drew and TJ … majoring in physical therapy … brother TJ was a deep snapper at Tennessee.
