2014 – Started nine of UVa’s 12 games … missed the Kent State, Pitt and Duke games with an ankle injury sustained at No. 21 BYU … Made first collegiate start in the season opener against No. 7 UCLA … completed his first eight passes and finished 16-of-23 passing for 112 yards … was 13-of-15 for 102 yards and a touchdown against Richmond … threw for 162 yards and a touchdown in helping upend No. 21 Louisville … also rushed for a score against the Cardinals … completed 21-of-35 passing for 188 yards before leaving with an ankle injury at No. 21 BYU … added a career-high 49 rushing yards and his second career rushing touchdown … threw for a career-high 261 yards and two touchdowns in return to the field against North Carolina … caught first career reception on a pass by Miles Gooch for 23 yards against the Tar Heels … completed 19-of-32 passes for 230 yards and a score at Georgia Tech … completed 20-of-35 passes for 220 yards and a career-high three touchdown passes at No. 2 Florida State … was 17-of-25 for 146 yards and a touchdown in UVa’s home win over Miami … finished the season going 15-of-32 for 211 yards and a touchdown at Virginia Tech. 2013 – Appeared in seven of UVa’s 12 games … made collegiate debut against then-No. 2 Oregon … on the season was 33-of-75 for 340 passing yards and one touchdown … was 8-of-13 for 75 yards and a touchdown strike to Keeon Johnson at North Carolina … had a career day at Miami going 13-of-19 for 134 yards. 2012 – Redshirted season … dressed for the Richmond, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Louisiana Tech, Maryland, Wake Forest, Miami and North Carolina games … enrolled in January and participated in spring football.
