2015 – One of UVA’s four team captains … one of two players that earned the Rock Weir Award for most improved during spring drills … shared the Iron Cavalier award for performance and dedication in the weight room. 2014 – Recognized on the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
AT VIRGINIA
2015 – Appeared in all 12 games with four starts … also appeared on UVA’s punt shield … collected first career start, as well as first career rush and first career catch at No. 13 UCLA … caught second career reception at North Carolina … made a huge hit on a solo tackle during kick coverage against Georgia Tech … made a special teams tackle at Miami … recorded a special teams tackle at Louisville … made a special teams tackle against Duke. 2014 – Appeared in all 12 of UVA’s games … saw most of his time on special teams where he was part of 58 plays … ran on 26 offensive plays from a FB/TE position … made one tackle against Virginia Tech. 2013 – Appeared in eight of UVA’s 12 games … did not play against Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami or Virginia Tech … saw time mostly on special teams where he was a part of 75 total plays … played offense against VMI and Oregon. 2012 – Appeared in four of UVA’s 12 games … made collegiate debut at NC State … appeared in UVA’s final four games on special teams … was UVA’s scout team player of the week for the Georgia Tech game and Maryland game. 2011 – Redshirted … dressed for the William & Mary, Southern Miss, Idaho, Georgia Tech, NC State, Duke and Virginia Tech games, in addition to the Chick-fil-A Bowl against Auburn.
