2024 –
Started the second half at then-No. 8 Notre Dame, where he rushed for a career-high two TDs … Threw a 68-yard touchdown pass to JR Wilson against North Carolina (10/26) … Completed six of his seven passes, including a pair of touchdowns, for 119 yards at No. 10 Clemson … Two passing TDs against the Tigers marked his first multi-touchdown effort since 2023.  2023 – Named starter and game captain for season opener against then-No. 12 Tennessee … started all six games in which he appeared … was 93-for-147 (63.3%) with 1,031 yards passing and threw for six touchdowns on the season … Produced four-straight 200-yard games (BC – 247; W&M – 232; UNC – 208, MIA – 239) … eclipsed the 1,000-yard passing mark for the season with 239 yards against Miami, his second-highest passing total of the year… threw TD passes in the final seven seconds of the first half; 39 yards at BC (0:00) and 26 yards against W&M (0:07) … injured late in the fourth quarter in the season opener against Tennessee and missed three weeks with injury … returned against BC (Week 5) and threw for season-high 247 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. All three TD passes came in the first half. First three TD game by a UVA quarterback since Brennan Armstrong in 2021… led the Cavaliers to a 31-27 road win over then-No. 10 North Carolina on Oct. 21. The victory was the first over a top-10 opponent on the road in program history. Engineered a seven-play, 73-yard scoring drive in the fourth quarter that culminated with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Malik Washington with 8:51 remaining that proved to be the game-winning score … sat out final three games with an injury.
