AT VIRGINIA
2024 – Started in all seven games in which he appeared … Finished the season with 45 tackles, including 16 solo, 5.0 TFL and two sacks … Had his 22-game start streak snapped at No. 10 Clemson (10/19) due to injury … Tallied a career-high 12 tackles against Maryland (9/14) … Recorded eight tackles (four solo) and a sack against Wake Forest (9/7). 2023 – Started in all 12 of UVA’s games … Ranked second on the team in total tackles with 80 … Also recorded 4.5 TFL and a sack … Came up with the game-sealing interception with 26 seconds left at No. 10 North Carolina (10/21) … Added six tackles and had a pair of QB hurries in the contest … Went over the 100-tackle mark for his career with his second-straight nine-tackle effort against William & Mary (10/7) … Voted as one of five team captains at the conclusion of the season. 2022 – Appeared in all 10 games and made six starts at inside linebacker … Made his first collegiate start in season opener against Richmond (9/3) … Started the final four games of the season … Credited with six more tackles in seven games … Made a season-high 11 tackles (7 solo) against North Carolina (11/5) … Also recorded his first career sack in the contest … Made nine tackles and recorded a half tackle for loss at Duke (10/1). 2021 – Appeared in 10 of UVA’s games… Made his collegiate debut against William & Mary… Made three tackles against Duke (10/16) … One of 14 true freshmen to appear in 2021.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL
Spring semester enrollee … Played linebacker and wide receiver at North Cross High School for head coach Stephen Alexander … Earned all-state honors as a receiver and as a linebacker after helping the Raiders to an 11-1 record and a VISAA Division II state championship in 2019 … Caught 29 passes for 575 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2019, while also notching 77 tackles, 8.0 TFLs and 9.0 sacks … In a shortened 2020 season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, he made 29 tackles, 4.0 TFLs and 2.0 sacks … Also caught 11 passes for 202 yards and two scores … Played freshman year at Pulaski County High School … A three-star recruit by ESPN.com, Rivals.com and 247sports.com… Major is Commerce in UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce… recipient of the 2022-23 Edmund F. Garno III Endowed Football Scholarship.
