Named a team captain in his lone season at UNT … Started all 13 games at quarterback on the No. 3 offense in the country (488.7 yds/gm) … Finished 322-for-512 (62.9%) with 3,774 yards passing and 31 TDs … Added 242 yards on the ground with four rushing TDs … Finished fourth nationally with 31 TD passes, behind only Shedeur Sanders (Colorado), Cam Ward (Miami) and Cade Klubnik (Clemson) … Led the nation with four 400-yard passing games … Ranked inside the top-10 nationally in completions per game (3rd – 26.83/gm), passing touchdowns (4th – 31), total offense (4th – 334.7), passing yards (5th – 3,774), passing yards per game (5th – 314.5) … Broke UNT’s single-season records for passing attempts (512), passing yards per game (314.5), total offense (4,104) and TD responsibility (35) … Set a program record with five straight 300-yard games from Sept. 21-Oct. 26 … Led UNT to a postseason berth upon accepting an invitation to play in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl.

Appeared in seven games with six starts … Started each of the first six games of the year for the Horned Frogs … Finished the season 133-for-203 for 1,532 yards and 12 touchdowns while also rushing 45 times for 249 yards and three TDs … Averaged over 250 yards of total offense per game in his seven appearances … Went 26 for 30 with a pair of passing TDs while also rushing six times for 63 yards and a score against Nicholls on Sept. 9 … Threw for 314 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 53 yards in a win at Houston (Sept. 16) … Finished 24-for-33 with three TDs in win over SMU (Sept. 23) … Posted nearly 350 yards of total offense with three TDs against West Virginia (Sept. 30). 2022 – Played in four games  while making one start … Started in the season-opening win over Colorado … Left the game in the third quarter due to injury … Completed 13 of his 20 pass attempts for 111 yards while adding 18 yards rushing on four carries … Completed five of his six pass attempts for 34 yards, one of which was for a touchdown in the regular-season finale, a 62-14 victory over Iowa State (Nov. 26) … Also saw action in the CFP National Championship against Georgia. 2021 – Played in four games, including a pair of starts the Horned Frogs … preserved a redshirt season … Made his first career start in a win over Baylor and earned Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors after totaling 531 yards of offense (461 passing, 70 rushing), the second-best total in TCU history … His 461 yards passing were the fourth-most in a game by a Horned Frog and ranked third in Big 12 history for a player in his first career start … it was also the third-most nationally since 2012 for a player in his first career start … Started the following week at Oklahoma St. before a season-ending injury … made his TCU debut in the opener against Duquesne and had a 20-yard touchdown pass on his first career attempt … Came off the bench to complete 9-of-14 passes for 111 yards while rushing for 38 yards on eight carries at Kansas State.

2020 –
Appeared in five games on the year for the Sooners … Completed 3-of-5 passes for 39 yards and rushed five times for 44 yards and two touchdowns on the year … Went 1-for-2 for 2 yards in the Cotton Bowl win over No. 10 Florida … Scored on a 2-yard touchdown run on the first drive of the Sooners’ Big 12 Championship win over No. 8 Iowa State … Ran for a 13-yard touchdown against Kansas … Completed both pass of his attempts for 37 yards and rushed twice for 25 yards in his collegiate debut against Missouri State.
